Rohan Khatri

Rohan Khatri is IVC Stories' point of contact for film, television, and streaming rights, coordinating adaptation enquiries from producers, studios, and platforms on behalf of the agency's authors.

Independent of that role, Khatri has worked as an assistant director in Hindi film and television since 2011. Public credit databases list more than one screen professional named Rohan Khatri; the filmography below has been matched to the Mumbai-based Assistant Director whose IMDb identifier is nm3912430 and whose public X profile links to that same IMDb page — see the note on attribution at the foot of this page.

Credit verification

  • Desi Boyz: Moviebuff and other crew databases list Khatri in the assistant-directing team; BookMyShow identifies this as his 2011 debut and describes the position as third assistant director.
  • Boss: The full crew record identifies him specifically as third assistant director.
  • Roy: The film's full credits list him as second assistant director.
  • Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive: Credited as second second assistant director, and separately appears in the cast as the Hotel Manager.
  • Shivaay: The full crew credits identify him as second second assistant director.
  • Phillauri: The film credits list him as additional assistant director.
  • Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran: Both second assistant director and an actor playing Sardaar Driver.
  • Runway 34: The full credits list him as second assistant director.
  • Dhurandhar: Credited as second assistant director.
  • Dhurandhar: The Revenge: The currently published crew credits again list him as second assistant director.
  • Ramayana: The currently available credit is second assistant director, pre-production. As the project is still listed for 2026, this credit should be treated as current rather than necessarily final.

2019Sacred Games — Season 2Second assistant director on eight episodes

The aggregated series credits list Rohan Khatri as second assistant director on all eight 2019 episodes; individual episode records — including Vikarna, Azrael, and Radcliffe — carry the same credit. There is not sufficiently strong evidence that he worked on Season 1: one secondary database appears to associate him with both seasons, but the detailed episode credits support Season 2 only, so that is the safer attribution.

Combined confirmed screen résumé: 11 films in the assistant-directing department; Sacred Games Season 2, covering eight episodes; two acting appearances (Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive and Parmanu); and advertising work for brands including Lay's, American Tourister, Incredible India, Vim, Truecaller, KFC, and Catch Spices.

The Lay's campaign is especially well documented: both the YouTube making-of upload and an Instagram production post name Rohan Khatri as 2nd AD, with Wunderman Thompson listed as the agency. The American Tourister commercial explicitly lists him as an AD; the two Incredible India films explicitly list him as 2nd AD in their YouTube credits. The Vim and Truecaller production credits place him alongside Vikas Sharma as a second AD. KFC and Catch Spices production-company posts also include an AD credit for him.

A note on attribution

Another Rohan Khatri who should not be mixed into this list: YouTube also contains Nepalese music-video credits naming a Rohan Khatri as Associate Director, including "O Ho Ni / Oh Ho Ni" (Associate Director, with Ajit Ale, directed by Bikash Prasai). This appears to be a different person — the production geography, collaborators, and type of work do not match the Mumbai commercial-assistant-director record above.
Important limitation: There is no authoritative public master filmography for his advertising work. Credits are scattered across YouTube descriptions, Instagram posts, Facebook production pages, and reposts, and many advertisements do not publish full crews. This is the broadest publicly discoverable list that could be verified at the time of writing, not a guarantee that it includes every advertisement he has worked on. The strongest confirmed advertising portfolio currently consists of Lay's, American Tourister, Incredible India, Vim, Truecaller, KFC, and Catch Spices.
